Job summary

The Housing Company is seeking a Maintenance Technician for full-time work at The Springs I & II Apartments in McCall, Idaho. You will perform general repairs throughout the complex and in individual units, conduct preventive maintenance, and manage routine groundskeeping tasks.

Responsibilities include completing apartment turns timely, keeping work areas organized, and maintaining tools inventory, with safety and Fair Housing compliance essential. A strong customer service mindset is required.

Qualifications

• Basic maintenance knowledge required, including Carpentry, Electrical, Plumbing, Painting, Groundskeeping.
• Excellent customer service and attention to detail.
• Able to prioritize multiple tasks, follow-up, and follow through.
• Adhere to safety policies and procedures.
• Familiar with Fair Housing Laws; valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
• Cell phone available for emergency calls; able to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.

The Housing Company, a non-profit organization, has an immediate opening for a Maintenance Technician in McCall, Idaho! You will assist with the maintenance of the complex as well as occasional work at other complexes as needed, including individual apartment units and the grounds. This position will be full-time at The Springs I & II Apartments in McCall.

In this role you will do the following:

• Perform general repairs in individual apartments and across the complex, including but not limited to, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, painting, and overall groundskeeping.
• Conduct preventive maintenance on buildings.
• Complete apartment turns in a timely manner, without sacrificing quality.
• Keep work areas clean and organized.
• Maintain an inventory of supplies and tools.
• Perform seasonal tasks such as mowing and snow/ice removal.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Basic working knowledge of building maintenance required, including:

• Carpentry
• Electrical
• Plumbing
• Painting
• Groundskeeping

Qualified candidates must also:

• Have exceptional customer service skills and attention to detail.
• Be highly motivated and have a positive attitude.
• Able prioritize multiple tasks, follow-up, and follow through.
• Adhere to safety policies and procedures.
• Become familiar with and abide by all applicable Fair Housing Laws.
• Have a valid driver’s license and active auto insurance.
