A Maintenance Technician II oversees the day-to-day maintenance operations of assigned properties. The Maintenance Technician is a key member that ensures the upkeep and safety of the property and will jump in and work alongside the team. Work involves indoor and outdoor environments and flexibility to adapt to unplanned events, while remaining resourceful and efficient. Works in coordination with the Property Management team to ensure the maintenance teams deliver safe, appropriate and sanitary housing to all our residents.
This position will report directly to the Community Manager and does not have supervisory responsibilities.
CCH is committed to paying competitive wages. The salary range for this position is $21.96 - $26.57 outside of California. Based on CCH’s compensation philosophy, the majority of new hires are brought in at the minimum of the salary range. CCH has a competitive benefits package with health, dental, vision, and life insurance, 8% of an employer contribution for retirement, and more. This is a full-time, non-exempt position. This position is based at Mountain Falls I & II, located at 1275 S. Woodruff Ave., Idaho Falls, ID 83404.
Generally extensive physical exertion is required. Prolonged periods of walking, bending, climbing, manual manipulations and use of hand tools. Must be able to regularly lift, move and carry items over 50lbs. Physical demands also include continual sitting, typing, and repetitive computer use for up to 8 hours a day. The position also requires frequent communication with others, including hearing and speaking clearly with individuals and groups, in person and via phone and video calls. These demands are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the job’s essential functions.
