Job summary

Highmark Residential is seeking a Maintenance Technician II at Flats Exchange on Erwin. The role involves performing appliance, carpentry, painting, plumbing, A/C and electrical duties to maintain the community and support the Maintenance Supervisor.

You will assist with the preventative maintenance program, respond to service requests, and work with the team to preserve the property. A year of apartment maintenance experience and an A/C Type II or Universal certification are preferred; a valid

• At least one year of apartment maintenance experience.
• AC Certification Type II or Universal.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Willing to work a flexible schedule & on-call.

Responsibilities

• Perform appliance, carpentry, painting, plumbing, A/C and electrical duties.
• Assist Service Manager with various tasks as required by the needs of the community.
• Ensure service requests are completed correctly and in a timely manner.
• Perform preventative maintenance repairs.
• Respond to automated service on emergency calls per company policy.
• Assist with functions.
• Participate in the ongoing community preservation plan and preventive maintenance program.
