Job summary

Highmark Residential is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to perform essential upkeep for the apartment community under the Maintenance Supervisor. You will handle appliances, carpentry, painting, plumbing, A/C, and electrical tasks while supporting the team.

You’ll participate in preventive maintenance, respond to service requests promptly, and assist with resident events. A one-year apartment maintenance background and a valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• At least one year of apartment maintenance experience.
• A/C Certification Type II or Universal.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Perform appliance, carpentry, painting, plumbing, A/C and electrical duties.
• Assist Service Manager with tasks for the community.
• Ensure service requests are completed correctly and timely.
• Perform preventative maintenance repairs.
• Respond to emergency service calls per policy.
• Participate in the community preservation and preventive maintenance program.

Responsibilities

What your day to day might look like:

• Perform appliance, carpentry, painting, plumbing, A/C and electrical duties
• Assist Service Manager with various tasks as required by the needs of the community
• Ensures service requests are completed correctly and in a timely manner
• Perform preventative maintenance repairs
• Responds to automated service on emergency calls per company policy
• Assists with resident functions
• Participates in the ongoing community preservation plan and preventive maintenance program
