Job summary

Vivmark Residential is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician II in Laurel, MD to diagnose and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and appliance systems, complete service requests promptly, and ensure apartments are rent-ready. You will perform preventative maintenance, assist in painting, and uphold a strong safety culture while supporting residents with responsive service.

The role requires 2–3 years of maintenance experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work on-call

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of maintenance experience including HVAC, plumbing and electrical work.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to work on-call shifts in rotation.
• Familiarity with safety data sheets and chemical handling.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliances and carpentry issues.
• Complete service requests promptly and in line with standards.
• Ensure vacant apartments are rent-ready in a timely manner.
• Perform preventative maintenance and basic painting as needed.
• Maintain a safe, incident-free work environment and follow all safety policies.
