Hawthorne Residential Partners in Hampstead, NC is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to handle work orders, perform preventative maintenance, and support day-to-day upkeep across the community.

The role requires HVAC certification and a working knowledge of routine repairs; education is High School or GED, with two years of apartment maintenance experience preferred. On-site schedule with on-call rotation and a strong safety culture.

Qualifications

• HVAC certification and routine repair knowledge required.
• Two years apartment maintenance experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and basic safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and perform maintenance and repairs in a timely and professional manner.
• Ensure service requests meet Hawthorne standards.
• Repair and restore vacant apartments to ready status.
• Assist with pool maintenance and cleaning.
• Complete preventative maintenance per company policy.
• Maintain building and grounds daily; keep shop organized.
• Promote positive relations with residents and staff; participate in on-call rotation.
• Follow OSHA safety guidelines and complete special projects as needed.
