Job summary
Hawthorne Residential Partners in Cary, NC is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to diagnose and perform repairs across our community. You will handle work orders independently, assist with preventative maintenance, and ensure apartments are ready for the next move-in, while maintaining grounds and common areas.
The ideal candidate has an HVAC certification, a valid driver's license, and at least two years of apartment maintenance experience.
Qualifications
- Education: High School or GED equivalent.
- Experience: Two years of apartment maintenance experience preferred.
- Licenses & Certifications: Valid Driver's License, EPA/HVAC Certification; CPO a plus.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and perform maintenance and repairs in a timely and professional manner.
- Assure all service requests are completed to Hawthorne standards.
- Repair and restore vacant apartments to make-ready status for next move-in.
- Assist with pool maintenance and cleaning.
- Complete preventative maintenance per company policy.
- Maintain building and grounds; keep shop organized and materials stocked.
- Promote positive relations with residents and staff; participate in on-call rotation.
- Follow OSHA safety guidelines and complete special projects as needed.
