Job summary

Hawthorne Residential Partners is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician II to independently handle work orders, assist with preventative maintenance, and support daily upkeep across a multi-family community in Wilmington, NC. HVAC certification and driver’s license are required, with EPA/HVAC credentials strongly preferred.

Two years of apartment maintenance experience is preferred, along with a willingness to participate in on-call rotations and a commitment to Hawthorne’s Live It culture

Qualifications

• HVAC certification or equivalent training.
• Two years of apartment maintenance experience preferred.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• EPA/HVAC Certification is required; CPO is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and perform maintenance and repairs in a timely and professional manner.
• Repair and restore vacant apartments to make-ready status.
• Assist with pool maintenance and general upkeep of community grounds.
• Complete preventative maintenance as per company policy.
• Promote safe, clean, and welcoming environments consistent with Hawthorne standards.
