Job summary

Hawthorne Residential Partners in Hampstead, NC is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to provide reliable on-site maintenance across our community. You will diagnose and repair issues, perform routine upkeep, and ensure apartments are ready for new residents.

The ideal candidate will have a High School or GED, an EPA/HVAC certification, a valid driver's license, and at least two years of apartment maintenance experience.

Qualifications

• High School or GED equivalent required.
• Two years of apartment maintenance experience preferred.
• EPA/HVAC Certification required; CPO Certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and perform maintenance and repairs in a timely and professional manner.
• Assure all service requests are completed by Hawthorne standards.
• Repair and restore vacant apartments to make ready status in preparation for the next move-in as per company standard.
• Assist with pool maintenance and cleaning.
• Completion of preventative maintenance according to the guidelines outlined in company policy.
• Promote good professional relations with residents, co-workers, and company staff.
• Conduct on-call emergency service rotation as scheduled.
• Follow safety guidelines in accordance with OSHA and company policy and standards.

Education

High School or GED equivalent

Two years of apartment maintenance experience

EPA/ HVAC Certification

CPO Certification is a plus
