Job summary

Hawthorne Residential Partners is seeking a dependable Maintenance Technician II to independently handle work orders, assist with preventative maintenance, and support day-to-day upkeep across our communities in Greensboro, NC. HVAC certification and a valid driver’s license are required, with CPO considered a plus.

Two years of apartment maintenance experience is preferred. The role includes on-call rotations, safety compliance, and opportunities for career growth within a supportive team

Qualifications

• High School or GED required.
• Two years of apartment maintenance experience preferred.
• EPA/HVAC Certification required; CPO certification is a plus.
• Valid Driver's License required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and perform maintenance and repairs in a timely and professional manner.
• Repair and restore vacant apartments to make-ready status as per company standards.
• Assist with pool maintenance and cleaning and complete preventative maintenance as directed.
• Maintain building and common areas daily and ensure shop is organized and stocked.
• Promote professional relations with residents, coworkers, and staff; participate in on-call emergency rotations.
