Hawthorne Residential Partners in Wellford, SC is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to join our team. You will handle work orders, perform preventative maintenance, and support day‑to‑day upkeep across our community. HVAC certification and a working knowledge of routine repairs are required.

Qualifications

• High School or GED equivalent required.
• Two years of apartment maintenance experience preferred.
• EPA/HVAC Certification required.
• CPO Certification is a plus for this role.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and perform maintenance and repairs in a timely and professional manner.
• Assure all service requests are completed by Hawthorne standards.
• Repair and restore vacant apartments to make‑ready status for next move‑in.
• Assist with pool maintenance and cleaning.
• Complete preventative maintenance according to company policy guidelines.
• Perform building and common area upkeep daily and maintain shop inventory.
• Promote professional relations with residents, co‑workers, and staff; embody Live It culture.
• Conduct on‑call emergency service rotation as scheduled.
• Follow OSHA safety guidelines and company policies; complete special projects as needed.

Education

High School or GED equivalent
