Hawthorne Residential Partners in Huntsville, AL is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to diagnose and repair issues across our apartment community and support day-to-day upkeep. The role emphasizes reliability, hands-on problem solving, and teamwork to keep residents satisfied.

You will need HVAC certification and a valid driver's license, with opportunities for growth through our career path program and a robust benefits package. On-call rotations are required.

Qualifications

• High School or GED equivalent.
• Two years of apartment maintenance experience preferred.
• Valid Driver's License
• EPA/HVAC Certification
• CPO Certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and perform maintenance and repairs in a timely and professional manner.
• Assure all service requests are completed by Hawthorne standards.
• Repair and restore vacant apartments to make ready status for next move-in.
• Assist with pool maintenance and cleaning.
• Complete preventive maintenance according to company policy.
• Maintain building and common areas daily and keep grounds neat.
• Promote good relations with residents, coworkers and staff.
• Participate in on-call emergency service rotation as scheduled.
