Hawthorne Residential Partners seeks dependable Maintenance Technician II to handle work orders, assist with preventative maintenance, and support day-to-day upkeep across the community. HVAC certification and routine repairs knowledge are required.

Qualifications

• Education: High School or GED equivalent
• Experience: Two years of apartment maintenance experience preferred
• Licenses & Certifications: Valid Driver's License, EPA/ HVAC Certification, CPO Certification is a plus

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and perform maintenance and repairs in a timely and professional manner.
• Assure all service requests are completed by Hawthorne standards.
• Repair and restore vacant apartments to make ready status in preparation for the next move-in as per company standard.
• Assist with pool maintenance and cleaning.
• Completion of preventative maintenance according to the guidelines outlined in company policy.
• Maintain building and common area upkeep daily; keep grounds neat and free of litter, debris, and pet waste.
• Promote good professional relations with residents, co-workers, and company staff; display a friendly and courteous attitude.
• Conduct on-call emergency service rotation as scheduled.
• Follow safety guidelines per OSHA and company policy; complete special projects as needed.
