Job summary

Vivmark Residential in Waltham, MA is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to perform hands-on maintenance, diagnose issues, and complete repairs across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and related systems. The role requires a proactive approach to safety and a focus on timely service requests.

As part of a large multi-family portfolio, you will contribute to keeping apartments rent-ready and delivering quality living experiences. A valid driver’s license and on-call rotation are required.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of maintenance experience in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and related work.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Willing to rotate on-call schedule monthly.
• Strong customer service and ability to read policies and procedures.
• Familiar with SDS, PPE, and chemical handling.

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses and repairs problems in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliances, and other systems.
• Complete service requests and keep up with safety standards.
• Ensure vacant apartments are rent-ready quickly.
• Perform preventative maintenance.
• Maintain safety culture and report hazards.
