Job summary

Vivmark Residential seeks a skilled Maintenance Technician II in Waltham, MA to diagnose and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general maintenance issues across apartment communities. You will help ensure units are rent-ready, perform preventative maintenance, and support painting and safety initiatives.

Ideal candidates have 2-3 years of maintenance experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to participate in a rotating on-call schedule.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience in maintenance work
• Valid driver’s license required
• Ability to participate in an on-call schedule in rotation
• Ability to read policies, SDS, and safety data sheets (SDS)

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair problems in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and major appliances
• Complete service requests and repairs to company standards in a timely manner
• Ensure vacant apartment homes are rent-ready promptly
• Perform preventative maintenance tasks across the property
• Assist in painting interior and exterior surfaces and maintain safety culture
