Job summary

Vivmark Residential is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Massachusetts (Wilmington) to diagnose and repair building systems, perform preventative maintenance, and keep units rent-ready. You will handle HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and safety tasks to ensure residents enjoy a high standard of living.

The position requires 2–3 years of relevant experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work on-call shifts.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of maintenance experience with HVAC, plumbing, electrical.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to rotate on-call shifts monthly.
• Strong communication with residents and team members.
• Ability to read policies and SDS.
• Knowledge of PPE and safety procedures.
• Familiarity with painting and basic repairs.

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses and repairs HVAC, electrical, plumbing, major appliances, carpentry, emergency systems, flooring, hardware, painting, water features, and waste management.
• Completes service requests and repairs to company standards in a timely manner.
• Ensures vacant apartment homes are rent-ready promptly; performs turnkey work as needed.
• Conducts Preventative Maintenance.
• Assists in interior and exterior painting.
• Maintains a safety-conscious culture and reports unsafe conditions.
• Performs hot works including brazing, soldering, and welding within policy.
