Job summary

Sentral in Santa Monica, CA is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to keep our residential communities safe, functional, and inviting. The role demands a proactive, detail-oriented individual who can manage day-to-day upkeep and prepare vacant units for occupancy.

You will work on-site, support safety standards, and collaborate with property teams. HVAC and EPA certifications are preferred, and weekend/on-call availability is required. We offer comprehensive benefits and a team-focused culture.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years of related experience or training.
• Computer skills including internet, e-mail, MS Outlook, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Word.
• Familiarity with common cleaning tools and proficiency in unskilled and semi-skilled maintenance tasks.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as work orders, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• HVAC Certification (Preferred)
• EPA Certification (Preferred)

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day maintenance and appearance of the buildings and grounds.
• Prepare vacant rental units for occupancy.
• Visually inspect property and report repairs or safety concerns.
• Ensure high standard appearance of building and surroundings.
• Respond to employee and resident requests promptly.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment.
• Keep work area clean and equipment in good working order.
• Follow management company policies and OSHA standards.
• Seek opportunities to improve skills.
• Wear uniform and maintain professional appearance.
• Available to work on an on-call basis.
• Perform other related duties as needed.
