Job summary

Drury Hotels is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to keep our Champaign property in top condition. You will perform repairs across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and kitchen systems, and contribute to a safe, well-maintained facility while delivering excellent guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Advanced maintenance knowledge across systems (plumbing, electrical, HVAC) including preventative maintenance.
• Knowledge of water chemistry, water testing, filtration for pool maintenance.
• Ability to dismantle equipment to repair or replace defective components.
• Experience implementing preventative maintenance programs for safe facilities.
• Proficiency in interpreting directions in English (written and verbal).
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair machinery faults using testing methods.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safe, smooth-running hotel property and grounds.
• Perform repairs on plumbing, electrical, refrigeration, kitchen equipment, and HVAC.
• Carry out light carpentry, painting, vinyl and drywall repairs.
• Implement safety programs to ensure compliant facilities and environments.
• Keep detailed records and reports of maintenance work.
• Provide ongoing training to Maintenance Tech I team members.
