Job summary

Main Street Renewal is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to respond to and repair property issues across the Memphis market. You’ll report to the Maintenance Lead, Supervisor, or Manager and perform plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and related tasks while documenting work with photos.

Role emphasizes customer service, move-in readiness, and adherence to SLA timelines. Travel within metro area and some physical demands are involved.

Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment.
Must have a current and valid driver's license as you will be operating a company vehicle.

Responsibilities

Review the calendar each day for assigned work orders to be completed; ensure information and supplies are ready.
Schedule daily tasks and communicate with residents on expected arrival times.
Complete maintenance within SLA including plumbing, electrical, mechanical, HVAC, carpentry and external repairs.
Close out work orders prior to the next appointment.
Document all completed work with before/after photos.
Track supplies and tool usage for restocking and servicing.
Perform rekeying of properties and other repair tasks as needed.
Support move-in audits/repairs prior to new move-in.
Provide exceptional customer service to residents and assist peers as needed.
