Job summary

Main Street Renewal is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to respond to and repair property issues for residents in the Charlotte market. You will review work orders, gather information, coordinate visits, and perform HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry tasks to uphold service standards.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED with 2–3 years of maintenance experience, a valid driver's license, and strong customer service skills. Travel to properties in the metro area is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical training is a plus.
• Experience with HVAC, plumbing, electrical and carpentry is preferred.
• Good communication and organizational skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Review the daily calendar for assigned work orders and complete them.
• Ensure repair information is gathered and supplies are available.
• Schedule tasks and communicate with residents on arrival times.
• Perform maintenance across HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry trades.
• Close out work orders promptly and document work with photos.
