Job summary

Main Street Renewal seeks a skilled Maintenance Technician to service our metro-area properties in Raleigh, NC. You will perform essential repairs across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry, while delivering a best-in-class move‑in experience for residents.

This role requires 2–3 years of maintenance experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to travel to properties. A strong customer service orientation and safety mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• Maintenance experience in property management or similar environment.
• HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry knowledge is required.
• Strong customer service and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Review daily work orders and gather required information.
• Schedule tasks and inform residents of ETA.
• Perform maintenance per SLA including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry.
• Close out work orders while at the property.
• Document work with before/after photos and notes.
• Track supplies and tools for restocking.
• Assist peers and support the team as needed.
• Conduct pre-move-in audits and repairs for new residents.
• Travel to metro-area properties as assigned.
