Job summary

Main Street Renewal is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to respond to and repair property issues across the metro area. You will operate under the Maintenance Lead/Supervisor/Manager and manage tasks, documenting work with photos, and maintaining supplies while ensuring timely repairs.

The role requires experience in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and strong customer service skills. A valid driver’s license and ability to travel within the metro area are essential.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• 2–3 years of maintenance experience, preferably in single- or multi-family property management.
• HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry knowledge with room to grow.

Responsibilities

• Review daily work orders and gather required repair information.
• Schedule tasks and communicate arrival times to residents.
• Perform property maintenance including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry and exterior repairs.
• Ensure work orders are closed out and documented with before/after photos.
• Maintain supplies and tools; assist with move-in readiness and pre-move-in audits.
• Provide exceptional customer service to residents and support peers.
