Job summary

Main Street Renewal in Greensboro, NC is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to respond to and repair resident-reported property issues across our market. You’ll report to the Maintenance Lead, Supervisor, or Manager and play a key role ensuring properties meet service standards.

The role requires 2–3 years of maintenance experience, HVAC/electrical/plumbing knowledge, a valid driver's license, and strong customer service.

Qualifications

Minimum 2–3 years of maintenance experience, preferably with single- or multi-family properties.
HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry knowledge with willingness to learn.
Current driver’s license and ability to travel to properties.
Good communication and documentation skills.
Basic knowledge of building and property management codes.
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Review daily work orders and gather required repair information.
Schedule tasks and communicate arrival times to residents.
Complete maintenance with SLA turnaround including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry.
Close work orders at the time of visit.
Document repairs with before/after photos.
Travel to Main Street properties within the metro area.
Provide exceptional customer service to residents.
Maintain supplies and tools; track usage.
