Job summary

The Scion Group LLC is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and turnover preparations for assigned properties. You will prioritize service requests and coordinate parts procurement to keep facilities operating smoothly.

You must have HVAC and EPA 608 certifications, strong safety awareness, and a customer-centric approach to support residents and property teams. This is an on-site, non-sponsoring role with on-call rotation.

Qualifications

• High School/GED or Trade School diploma with 3–5 years of full-time maintenance experience.
• OSHA training preferred; must be completed within three months of employment.
• HVAC certification required.
• EPA 608 certification Core & Type I & II required.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates proficiency in Entrata and CMMS systems for logging service requests and completed work.
• Maintains property according to SOPs, OSHA and industry standards; performs preventive maintenance.
• Diagnoses and repairs building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting).
• Coordinates with vendors and contractors; on-call for after-hours emergencies.
• Documents all work in Entrata with notes, parts used and required follow-up.
