Job summary

The Scion Group is seeking a Facilities Technician II to respond to service requests, perform preventive maintenance, and prepare units for turnover. The role emphasizes strong problem-solving, technical aptitude, and reliable follow-through in a fast-paced environment.

Candidates should have 3–5 years of maintenance experience, HVAC/EPA 608 certification, and a Certified Pool Operator credential or intent to obtain one. The position includes discretionary bonuses, PTO and benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or trade school with 3–5 years of maintenance experience.
• HVAC/EPA 608 certification required.
• CPO certification or intent to obtain within six months.
• Clear communication skills and reliability.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and security systems.
• Ability to work flexible hours including after-hours emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Respond to maintenance and repair requests and perform preventive maintenance.
• Prepare apartments for turnovers and ensure safety of buildings and equipment.
• Operate and monitor life safety and building systems.
• Document work, supplies used, and follow up as needed.
• Coordinate with vendors and supervisors on schedules and priorities.
• Promote positive relations with residents, staff and management.
• Inspect vacated apartments and record needed repairs.
