Job summary

The Scion Group LLC is seeking a Facilities Technician II to support maintenance and repair services across our properties in a fast-paced environment. You will perform preventive maintenance, prepare apartments for turnovers, and coordinate with vendors to meet schedules while ensuring safety and operational efficiency.

This role requires strong problem solving, technical ability and reliable follow-through, with responsibilities spanning BAS, CMMS, and life-safety system monitoring to keep

Qualifications

• High school/GED or trade school diploma with 3–5 years of full-time maintenance experience.
• HVAC certification/EPA 608 certification (Core, Type I, II & III).
• Certified Pool Operator (CPO) or plan to obtain within six months.
• Clear and effective communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Safety procedures knowledge with ability to meet deadlines.
• Willingness to travel as required.
• Able to stand 8 hours and lift up to 100 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate proficiency in BAS, Entrata and CMMS for timely logging of service requests and completed work.
• Maintain property condition according to SOPs, OSHA and industry standards.
• Perform physically demanding maintenance to protect assets and safety.
• Operate monitoring/diagnostics and preventive testing for major building systems.
• Assist in emergency/disaster preparedness plans and protocols.
• Coordinate with Supervisor and vendors to schedule maintenance activities.
• Document work performed and parts used with clear notes and dates.
• Routinely inspect interiors and exteriors to ensure upkeep and safety.
