Job summary

Balfour Beatty Communities is seeking a Maintenance Technician to preserve the quality of our residential communities and deliver world-class service to residents. You will diagnose issues, perform repairs, and supervise contractors as needed.

The role requires 4–6 years of maintenance experience, HVAC/electrical/plumbing proficiency, and certifications such as EPA 608 or Boiler within 9–12 months. A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are expected for on-site duties.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 4-6 years of maintenance experience.
• Certifications such as EPA 608, Boiler within 9 months of hire/promotion.

Responsibilities

• General maintenance and repair of HVAC, mechanical, electrical, and lighting systems.
• Direct and coordinate contractors on assigned projects and manage parts inventory.
• Ensure safety and environmental policies are followed, and residents are satisfied with service.
• Work rotating on-call schedule to provide 24/7 maintenance coverage.
