Job summary

Balfour Beatty Communities is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep our residential properties in top condition and deliver world-class service to residents.

You will diagnose issues, perform repairs, and manage service requests while coordinating with outside contractors and working a rotating on-call schedule. A high school diploma or GED, 4–6 years’ maintenance experience, and a valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 4–6 years of maintenance experience.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Advanced knowledge in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, or carpentry.
• Valid driver's license with clean record.
• EPA 608, Boiler Certification or related regional certs within 9–12 months.

Responsibilities

• General maintenance and upkeep of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and lighting systems.
• Diagnose issues and perform repairs; coordinate with contractors on projects.
• Ensure safety and environmental policies are followed.
• Provide responsive, professional service to residents; on-call coverage rotation.
