Job summary

Balfour Beatty Communities in Carlisle, PA, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to maintain the property's physical condition and deliver world-class resident service. You will diagnose issues, perform repairs, and ensure timely completion of resident requests, across HVAC, electrical, plumbing and related systems.

This role requires 4–6 years of maintenance experience, strong customer service skills, and the ability to work with limited supervision.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 4-6 years of maintenance experience.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Advanced knowledge in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, or carpentry.
• Solid troubleshooting abilities.
• Ability to diagnose problems and recommend repairs.
• Valid driver's license with clean record.
• EPA 608/Boiler etc. certifications required within nine months.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and ensure property HVAC, mechanical, electrical, utilities and lighting systems are operational.
• Direct and coordinate with technicians and contractors on projects.
• Maintain safety and environmental policy compliance.
• Provide 24/7 on-call maintenance coverage on a rotating schedule.
