Job summary

Balfour Beatty Communities is seeking a Maintenance Technician to maintain the overall physical condition of the community and provide world-class service to residents. You will diagnose issues, perform repairs and ensure timely completion of service requests, while adhering to safety policies and procedures.

Qualified candidates have 4–6 years of maintenance experience, strong customer service skills, and the ability to work with limited supervision.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 4–6 years of maintenance experience.
• Certifications relevant to the region (e.g., EPA 608, Boiler Certification) within 9–12 months of hire.
• Demonstrated strong customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• General maintenance and upkeep of property HVAC, mechanical, electrical, utilities and lighting systems; inspect and repair as needed.
• Enforce safety and environmental policies and procedures.
• Deliver high resident satisfaction through responsive, professional interactions.
• Work rotating on-call schedule for 24/7 maintenance coverage.
