Balfour Beatty Communities is seeking a Maintenance Technician to uphold the physical condition of our communities and deliver world-class service to residents. You will diagnose issues, perform repairs, and coordinate with technicians and contractors on projects to maintain high standards of safety and reliability.

The role requires hands-on maintenance across HVAC, electrical, plumbing and carpentry with a focus on responsiveness, quality and resident satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 4–6 years of maintenance experience.
• EPA 608/Boiler or regionally relevant certifications within 9 months of hire.
• Valid state driver’s license with safe driving record.
• Strong customer service skills and ability to communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance of property HVAC, mechanical, electrical, utilities and lighting systems, including inspections and repairs.
• Directly supervise and coordinate mechanics, technicians, and outside contractors on assigned projects.
• Control parts and equipment inventory and complete repairs promptly.
• Adhere to company safety and environmental policies and procedures.
