Job summary

Mayfair Management Group is seeking a highly-motivated Maintenance Technician II for our Mary Buck Apartments in Whitesboro, NY. You will maintain and enhance our apartment community, perform preventive and emergency maintenance, and ensure the physical integrity of the property.

Ideal candidates possess basic tools and knowledge in carpentry, painting, plumbing, electrical work, and some A/C experience. Weekend/on-call shifts are required.

Qualifications

• Own basic tools required.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, memos, and maintenance requests.
• Ability to communicate with residents and other employees.
• Team player with reliability and problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance across the apartment community.
• Handle custodial and grounds tasks as needed to maintain property integrity.
• Respond to maintenance requests and emergencies in a timely manner.
• Assist with minor repairs and installations across units and common areas.

Join a renowned and rapidly growing Property Management Team! We are currently seeking a highly-motivated, self-starter for our maintenance department.

Qualified candidates must be able to perform various duties aimed at maintaining and enhancing the apartment community. Ideal candidates must possess an aptitude for general building maintenance, custodial & grounds will be responsible for maintaining the physical integrity of your assigned apartment community.

You will be responsible for all aspects of the property's maintenance including but not limited to the physical grounds, preventive, corrective, deferred, and emergency maintenance.

Must have a basic understanding and knowledge of general maintenance, carpentry, painting, refurbishing, plumbing, electricity, appliances, make-readies, and some A/C experience.
