Mayfair Management Group, LP in Houston, TX is seeking a Maintenance Technician I to join our property management team. You will perform a range of duties to maintain and enhance the apartment community, with responsibilities spanning preventive, corrective, deferred, and emergency maintenance.

Ideal candidates have basic maintenance knowledge, carpentry, painting, plumbing, electrical, and A/C experience, plus the ability to read and follow technical procedures.

Qualifications

• HVAC knowledge required.
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical procedures and governmental regulations.
• Ability to communicate with residents and other employees.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, corrective, deferred, and emergency maintenance.
• Maintain and enhance the apartment community including grounds and custodial duties.
• Read and interpret technical procedures and governmental regulations.
• Use own tools to repair and service building systems and appliances.

Qualified candidates must be able to perform various duties aimed at maintaining and enhancing the apartment community. Ideal candidates must possess an aptitude for general building maintenance, custodial & grounds will be responsible for maintaining the physical integrity of your assigned apartment community.

You will be responsible for all aspects of the property's maintenance including but not limited to the physical grounds, preventive, corrective, deferred, and emergency maintenance.

Must have a basic understanding and knowledge of general maintenance, carpentry, painting, refurbishing, plumbing, electricity, appliances, make-readies, and A/C experience.
