Responsibilities

• Daily repair and upkeep of the property.
• Respond to work orders within 24 hours.
• Complete make-ready process to prepare vacant homes for leasing.
• Complete paperwork timely and accurately to document service requests.
• Track inventory used and notify supervisor about re-ordering needs.
• Assist in other maintenance tasks as directed by supervisor.

We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Make Ready Maintenance Technician II for Laurel Heights at Cityview, our 440 unit residential community located in Fort Worth, TX!

Your role as Maintenance Technician II is critical to AL’s success and may include due diligence, community acquisition/disposition, serving on or participating in company sponsored or sanctioned committees, organizations, functions etc. You are ultimately responsible for insuring the efficient maintenance operation of the property under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor and Property Manager.

We have a new bonus structure! All Maintenance Technician team members will receive a stipend of $100 when on-call, on top of overtime. ALSO, maintenance team members are eligible for bonuses of up to $250 based on make ready status and work order completion.

Your Day to Day at AL as a Maintenance Technician:

• Responsible for the daily repair and upkeep of the property.
• Responding to work orders within 24 hours
• Complete the make-ready process to prepare vacant apartment homes for leasing
• Completepaperworkinatimely,accurate,andcompletefashionsothatservicerequestscan be appropriately documented and tracked
• Tracking inventory used
• Notifying the Maintenance Supervisor about re-ordering needs

Qualifying Accomplishments of a Maintenance Technician:

• Prior experience in multi-family housing as a maintenance technician
• HVAC Certified (Requirement)
• Electrical & plumbing skills / trouble shooting ability
• Irrigation knowledge
