Job summary

American Landmark Apartments is seeking a Maintenance Technician II for Ranch at Hudson Xing in McKinney, TX. You will perform daily repair and upkeep, respond to work orders within 24 hours, and complete make-ready tasks to prepare vacant homes for leasing.

HVAC certification is required, with strong electrical and plumbing troubleshooting skills in a multi-family setting. You'll report to the Maintenance Supervisor and participate in safety and team initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Daily repair and upkeep of the property.
• Respond to work orders within 24 hours.
• Complete the make-ready process to prepare vacant homes for leasing.
• Document service requests accurately and completely.
• Track inventory and notify the supervisor when re-ordering is needed.

Your role as Maintenance Technician II is critical to AL’s success and may include due diligence, community acquisition/disposition, serving on or participating in company sponsored or sanctioned committees, organizations, functions etc. You are ultimately responsible for insuring the efficient maintenance operation of the property under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor and Property Manager.

We have a new bonus structure! All Maintenance Technicians will receive a stipend of $100 when on-call, on top of overtime. ALSO, maintenance team members are eligible for bonuses of up to $250 based on make ready status and work order completion.

Your “Day to Day” at American Landmark as a Maintenance Technician:

• Responsible for the daily repair and upkeep of the property.
• Responding to work orders within 24 hours
• Complete the “make-ready” process to prepare vacant apartment homes for leasing
• Complete paperwork in a timely, accurate, and complete fashion so that service requests can be appropriately documented and tracked
• Tracking inventory used
• Notifying the Maintenance Supervisor about re-ordering needs

Qualifying Accomplishments of a Maintenance Technician:

• Prior experience in multi-family housing as a Maintenance Technician
• HVAC Certified (Requirement)
• Electrical & plumbing skills / trouble shooting ability
• Irrigation knowledge
