Job summary

Balfour Beatty Communities is seeking a Maintenance Technician to uphold the community’s physical condition and provide world-class service to residents. You will diagnose issues, perform repairs, and address service requests promptly while following safety guidelines.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of maintenance experience and a high school diploma or GED. EPA 608, boiler, plumbing, or electrical certifications are valued as you advance through levels in the maintenance family.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of maintenance experience.
• High school diploma or GED, EPA 608 or equivalent certifications encouraged.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical, plumbing or carpentry issues within standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide maintenance support for general maintenance and orderliness of property HVAC, mechanical, electrical, utilities and lighting systems, including inspections and repairs.
• Ensure adherence to safety and environmental policies and procedures.
• Deliver high resident satisfaction through responsive, professional interactions.
• Work a rotating on-call schedule to provide 24/7 maintenance coverage.
