Job summary

Bridge Property Management is seeking a Maintenance Technician to help maintain and improve our community. You will handle HVAC systems and general repairs to create a comfortable, well-kept living space for residents, working with a supportive team and management.

You will perform electrical, plumbing, carpentry and painting tasks, schedule preventive maintenance, monitor contractors, and help with landscaping and move-in readiness. Safety and teamwork are emphasized throughout the role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years of experience in facility maintenance.
• Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Complete maintenance requests quickly and efficiently, handling electrical, plumbing, carpentry, masonry and painting tasks.
• Maintain, repair and replace HVAC systems to keep residents comfortable year-round.
• Fix showers, sinks, appliances, doors, cabinets, walls and building exteriors.
• Schedule and complete preventive maintenance to avoid issues.
• Keep community pools clean and safe.
• Monitor outside vendors to ensure quality work.
• Assist with light landscaping, trash pickup and sidewalk cleaning.
• Prepare homes for new residents, making units move-in ready.
• Report safety issues to your supervisor and follow safety regs.
• Assist with additional maintenance tasks as needed.
