Job summary

Vivmark Residential is seeking a Maintenance Technician to maintain apartment homes and ensure timely repairs across HVAC, electrical, plumbing and general maintenance. You will diagnose issues, perform preventive maintenance, and coordinate with residents to deliver reliable service.

The role requires 2-3 years of maintenance experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to participate in an on-call rotation.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of maintenance experience including HVAC, plumbing and electrical work.
• Valid driver’s license.
• On-call rotation availability.
• Able to communicate with residents and teammates.
• Familiar with policies including SDS and safety rules.
• Knowledge of PPE and safe chemical handling.
• Basic understanding of emergency systems and paint tools.

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses and repairs HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliances, carpentry and safety systems.
• Completes service requests and repairs according to standards and timelines.
• Ensures vacant apartments are rent-ready promptly; performs turnkey work as needed.
• Performs preventive maintenance on community systems.
• Assists in interior and exterior painting as required.
• Maintains a safe work environment and reports unsafe conditions.
• Performs hot works (braze, solder, weld) within standards.
