Job summary

Vivmark Residential seeks a hands-on Maintenance Technician to partner with the Community Manager, ensure maintenance standards, and prepare market-ready apartments. The role requires coordinating with a team, handling resident requests, and supporting capital improvements in a fast-paced property management environment.

Responsibilities include maintaining plumbing, electrical, appliances, and HVAC, adhering to housing laws, and using data to drive cost-effective decisions.

Qualifications

• Hands-on maintenance experience across plumbing, electrical, appliance, HVAC
• Knowledge of federal and state apartment housing laws
• EPA Section 608 Type I/II or Universal certification required within 90 days of hire

Responsibilities

• Partner with Community Manager to achieve property objectives
• Ensure team adheres to Equity standards and handles resident service requests
• Assist team with maintenance tasks and prepare market-ready apartments
• Analyze property management system data and provide recommendations
• Collaborate on capital improvements and oversee inventory control
• Perform scheduled maintenance and prepare status reports
