Job summary

Bell Partners in Charlotte, NC seeks a Maintenance Technician to perform routine interior and exterior upkeep across communities. You will respond to maintenance requests, inspect systems, and ensure safety and resident privacy.

This role requires 1–3 years of maintenance experience, basic HVAC/plumbing/electrical skills, and a high school diploma with strong customer service. Availability includes weekdays, evenings, and weekends.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Bell Core Values alignment
• 1–3 years maintenance experience
• Basic HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry
• HVAC, EPA and/or CPO certs may be required
• Strong verbal and written communication
• Excellent customer service
• Availability to work weekdays, evenings and weekends

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to residents and staff
• Perform routine interior and exterior maintenance
• Respond to repair requests from residents and staff
• Report equipment malfunctions to Maintenance Supervisor promptly
• Maintain resident privacy before entering apartments
• Keep maintenance items in safe area
• Attend in-service training
• Coordinate with vendors for services
• Follow safety/OSHA requirements
• Maintain regular attendance and punctuality
