Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician 3 to maintain property buildings, grounds, and amenities in Riverside, CA. You will diagnose issues and perform preventative maintenance to ensure safety and quality standards.

Requirements include 2–5 years in general maintenance, knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems, and the ability to use hand and power tools. EPA certifications and a valid driver's license are required.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in general maintenance.
• Working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, mechanical systems, and general building repairs.
• Experience troubleshooting and performing preventative and corrective maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and preventative maintenance by diagnosing defects and making repairs according to safety standards.
• Finish the make-ready process to prepare vacant apartments for leasing and new move-ins.
• Track materials, return unused items, and notify supervision about re-ordering needs.
• Complete documentation so service requests are documented and tracked.
• Maintain grounds, common areas, and amenities; perform cleaning and painting as needed.
• Support cost-cutting by fixing parts instead of replacing when possible.
