Job summary

Greystar in Los Angeles, CA is seeking a Service Technician to maintain the property's buildings, grounds, and amenities to Greystar's standards for safety, cleanliness, and functionality. Responsibilities include completing work orders and preventative maintenance, preparing vacants for leasing, managing materials, documenting repairs, and assisting in property inspections.

It requires 1-2 years of maintenance experience and EPA refrigerant certifications.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of Maintenance experience
• EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property, if applicable

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and preventative maintenance on the property by diagnosing defects and making repairs per policies and safety standards.
• Completes the make-ready process for vacant units, including pre-move-out inspections, punch lists, vendor coordination, and scheduling.
• Manages materials by tracking inventory, returning unused items, and notifying the maintenance supervisor about re-orders.
• Documents service requests accurately and timely to enable proper recording and tracking.
• Maintains grounds and common areas, and supports upkeep of amenities by cleaning, painting, and debris removal.
• Supports cost-control by repairing parts when possible and practicing efficient use of tools and supplies.
