Job summary

Vivmark Residential in Rockville, MD is seeking a Maintenance Technician to service apartment homes, diagnose and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and more. You will tackle service requests, perform preventative maintenance, and help ensure units are rent-ready while upholding safety standards.

This full-time role requires 2–3 years of maintenance experience, a valid driver's license, and the ability to participate in on-call rotations.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of maintenance experience with HVAC, plumbing and electrical work.
• Valid driver\'s license required.
• Ability to participate in on-call rotation.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to read and follow maintenance policies and SDS.
• Knowledge of PPE and safety procedures.
• Basic understanding of emergency systems and paint tools.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, major appliances, carpentry, and related systems.
• Complete service requests in a timely manner per company standards.
• Ensure vacant units are rent-ready and perform turnkey work when needed.
• Perform preventative maintenance on apartments and common areas.
• Assist with interior/exterior painting as required.
• Uphold safety culture and report unsafe conditions.
• Perform hot works (brazing, soldering, welding) per standards.
