Job summary

J&P Hospitality Management, LLC is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep the property safe, functional, and welcoming for guests. This on-site, part-time role requires hands-on work across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and groundskeeping.

The ideal candidate performs repairs promptly, supports safety protocols, and helps prepare rooms. Pay is $20.00–$22.00 per hour, with occasional overnight coverage and potential on-site studio housing subject to availability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous maintenance or facilities experience strongly preferred.
• Working knowledge of plumbing, HVAC, basic electrical, and general construction.
• Must be able to use hand and power tools safely.
• Ability to diagnose issues using manuals or blueprints.
• Employment subject to E-Verify.

Responsibilities

• Perform general repairs to guest rooms, common areas, and facility systems (plumbing, HVAC, electrical, carpentry, painting).
• Diagnose and troubleshoot maintenance problems with tools or testing equipment.
• Inspect PTAC units, appliances, lighting, locks, and fixtures.
• Complete service requests and report unresolved issues to the GM.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness of workspaces and storage areas.
• Assist with exterior maintenance and room readiness as needed.
• Support after-hours emergencies or overtime as requested.
