Job summary

J&P Hospitality Management, LLC is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep our property safe, functional, and guest-ready. You will handle plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and groundskeeping tasks across guest rooms and public spaces.

The role requires problem-solving, attention to detail, and timely repairs, with shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. On-site work and safety compliance are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous maintenance or facilities experience strongly preferred.
• Working knowledge of plumbing, HVAC, basic electrical, and general construction.
• Must be able to use hand and power tools safely.

Responsibilities

• Perform general repairs to guest rooms, common areas, and facility systems.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot maintenance problems and complete repairs using hand tools, power tools, or testing equipment.
• Inspect and maintain PTAC units, appliances, lighting, locks, and basic fixtures.
• Complete service requests and report unresolved issues to the General Manager.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of maintenance workspaces and storage areas.
• Move furniture, replace flooring, touch‑up paint, and help prep guest rooms when needed.
