Job summary

J&P Hospitality/Asset Management seeks a Maintenance Technician to ensure the property is safe, functional, and well-maintained. The role covers plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and groundskeeping, with hands-on problem solving and timely repairs.

Responsibilities include responding to service requests, aiding with room readiness, and supporting safety protocols and guest experience. On-site location with potential after-hours.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in maintenance or facilities is strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of plumbing, HVAC, basic electrical, and general construction.

Responsibilities

• Perform general repairs to guest rooms, common areas, and facility systems.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot maintenance problems and complete repairs.
• Inspect and maintain PTAC units, appliances, lighting, locks, and fixtures.
• Complete service requests and report unresolved issues to the General Manager.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of maintenance workspaces and storage areas.
• Support exterior maintenance and seasonal upkeep as needed.
• Move furniture, replace flooring, and prep guest rooms when needed.
• Assist with occasional cleaning or laundry duties as assigned.
