Job summary

The Maintenance Technician at J&P Hospitality Management, LLC ensures the property is safe, functional, and comfortable for guests and staff through hands-on repairs across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and painting.

This on-site, part-time, non-exempt role requires problem solving, attention to detail, willingness to work evenings, weekends, and occasional overtime, and adherence to safety and room readiness standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Maintenance or facilities experience preferred.
• Knowledge of plumbing, HVAC, basic electrical, and general construction.
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely and reference manuals when needed.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States; E-Verify applies.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Perform general repairs in guest rooms, common areas, and facilities.
• Diagnose and repair problems with tools and testing equipment.
• Inspect PTAC units, appliances, lighting, locks, and fixtures.
• Complete service requests and report unresolved issues to the GM.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness of workspaces; assist with exterior maintenance.
• Assist with occasional cleaning or laundry duties; support after-hours needs.
