Job summary

Cambio Communities is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform repairs, routine and preventative maintenance across homes, grounds, and facilities. You’ll handle repairs, upkeep, and safety, while delivering strong resident service and teamwork.

This hands-on role requires basic trades knowledge, tool proficiency, and the ability to follow safety procedures. You may work varied shifts, including some evenings and weekends, and you’ll support the community’s EPIC values.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• Broad maintenance knowledge and repair experience.
• Proficient with hand and power tools and basic machinery.
• Ability to snowplow using company equipment per standards.
• Ability to plan and prioritize in a solo or team setting.
• Clear written reporting and note-taking ability.
• Team player able to take direction and stay productive.
• On-call availability during non-business hours.
• Valid driver license and reliable transportation.
• Proficient with email, internet, and mobile devices.
• Growth mindset and neat, professional appearance.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on rental homes from work orders.
• Maintain grounds, common areas, and amenities; trash pickup and cleaning.
• Clean and tidy clubhouses, offices, restrooms, and maintenance spaces.
• Repair parts to control costs and avoid wasteful replacement.
• Paint interior and exterior walls and trim as needed.
• Operate backhoe for water/sewer trench work (if applicable).
• Repair parking lots and sidewalks with asphalt and concrete.
• Provide seasonal snow removal for streets and lots (if applicable).
• Maintain plumbing and electrical systems; replace worn parts.
• Inspect and repair common area amenities and pools.
• Test water quality and operate water meters where required.
• Support supervising onsite contracted work with Community Manager.
