Yes! Communities, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep community grounds safe, organized, and stocked. You will interact with residents and ensure timely completion of service requests and inspections, while maintaining community assets and grounds.

The role emphasizes teamwork, adherence to OSHA standards, and capability to handle on-call duties, read meters, and support new home delivery and setup within an independent living community.

Qualifications

• A valid in-state driver’s license is required.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and pool operation experience a plus.
• OSHA training or certifications a plus.
• Proficiency with industry software on tablets/electronic devices.

Responsibilities

• Maintain rental inventory via preventative maintenance, work orders, and refurbishments.
• Keep grounds, common areas, and vacant lots clean and debris-free.
• Complete tasks timely without compromising safety or quality.
• Respond to after-hours emergency calls per on-call schedule.
• Read water meters, identify and fix leaks as applicable.
• Organize maintenance facilities, tools, and equipment.
• Assist in new home delivery and setup; report warranty work to management.
• Deliver resident notices as requested by management.
• Attend required team/safety meetings.
