Job summary

TM Associates Management, Inc. (TMAM) is seeking a Maintenance Person to operate and maintain electrical and mechanical equipment that provides heating and hot water for our properties.

You will coordinate daily activities with the Site Manager and perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and unit turnovers as needed. The role requires lifting up to 50 pounds, ladder work up to 20 feet, and reliable English communication.

Qualifications

• Possess a valid driver’s license and driving record acceptable to TMAM.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
• Able to climb ladders to a height of 20 feet.
• Able to communicate both orally and in writing using English.

Responsibilities

• Maintain heaters, air-conditioners, and other equipment in the buildings; ensure safe, efficient operation and continuous hot water service; inspect control equipment and replace worn parts.
• Perform maintenance and repairs on apartments and turn over units when vacated.
• Report health or safety issues to the Site Manager promptly.
• Weekly inspections of buildings, grounds and public areas with deficiencies reported to the Site Manager.
• Provide housekeeping for common areas and assist with landscaping and grounds maintenance.
